For the past few months I’ve been printing, framing, mounting, buying, cutting, designing, pricing, spending, making and organising the shit out of my work, all for this awesome art and design fair: Supergraph!!!
Supergraph is Australia’s first contemporary graphic art fair that celebrates design, print and illustration across a three-day fiesta over the Valentines Day weekend (that’s Fri 14th – Sun 16th Feb fellas). The fair features leading graphic artists showcasing original and limited edition artworks and there’ll also be creative workshops, artist led masterclasses, family-fun events and an opening night party!
I’ve never had a whole booth of my own work before and, just quietly, I’m pretty nervous! Nervous it’s not going to stand out or look professional enough against all the other amazing artists and alongside people I admire like Frankie Magazine, Etsy Australia, Signed & Numbered and The Jacky Winter Group – just to mention a few! But, none-the-less, I’m super excited to be involved and show off my new work! I’ve got a bunch of framed print options and am branching out from my usual chunky ornate style and offering some sleek black, white and distressed wood frames too. My favourites are still the ornate frames and I’ve tried a silver one for the first time too!
I’ll be manning my booth over the three days at The Royal Exhibition Building (8 Nicholson Street, Carlton), so come and say hey if you’re in the area or after something a bit different to do over the weekend.
