About the design
A Home Amongst the Gumtrees is one of my latest Modern Australiana designs. Featuring detailed drawings of Australian animals such as an Emu, Echidna and White Cockatoos.
These works are very close to my heart as they represent my journey on returning to Australia after living in the UK and missing everything about home.
I enjoyed experimenting with detailed pen drawings combined with watercolour marks and textures, as well as introducing photography of Australian coastal areas, including from my hometown of Coffs Harbour. Layering these elements to create a modern mixed media of graphic design, illustration and photography.
About the print
Printed on beautifully heavy and slightly textured acid free archival 300gsm paper. A5 sheets measuring 148mm x 210mm. The prints will be signed by the artist and packed in a clear cello slip.
